Day one of racing at the Samsung World Rowing Cup in Munich, Germany wrapped up with a mixture of repechages, quarterfinals and heats. In the following heats the lightweight men’s pair saw the stumble of World Champions, France while Ukraine proved their strength in quadruple sculling.
